One should know Saint-Tropez in January. The light sits lower, the harbour moves more slowly, and the pines draw shadows erased by summer. The peninsula ceases to be a destination and becomes a territory again.

The true privilege is not being at the centre. It is the freedom to choose one’s own rhythm, minutes from the village and yet outside time.
